New online casino from National Lampoon

In a bid to bring together several well known names in poker and Internet gaming, New York listed comedy brand National Lampoon Inc., is to launch the National Lampoon Casino.com.  National Lampoon Casino will allow players access to several poker engines and non-stop tournament formats. Players can also try their hand at games of skill like trivia challenges and financial market competitions.

 

Totally legal, says company

National Lampoon Inc. stressed that there was nothing illegal about its operations. As the operations are based on the ClubWPT concept of membership, which is itself based on subscriptions, they circumvent the US laws against online poker, the company added.

 

Together with Poker Face LLC, National Lampoon, Inc. will offer online gaming on the Internet. The games offered will include Texas Hold ‘Em and blackjack. Consumer goods and travel will also form part of the services offered.

 

A whiff of Vegas

The CEO of Poker Face LLC, Mark Songer, said every attempt has been made to ensure that they created an atmosphere that would match the quality of the National Lampoon brand. With this in mind, they had decided to enter into partnership with the best known names in gaming like The World Poker Tour and the National League of Poker and other affiliates. The aim was to allow players to enjoy the thrills and atmosphere of Vegas with a bit of fun and humor thrown in, he said.

Readers may recall that as part of its expanding online media business, National Lampoon Inc. has three targeted online advertising networks. Advertisers can thus reach out to their targeted audiences. While the Drunk University Network is targeted at college students, the Zaz Network, which includes several humor and celebrity sites, focuses on women. The third network is the National Lampoon Humor Network, of which National Lampoon Casino .com will be an affiliate.
